Our production process
Every Scissors Town instrument is made step by step in our factory in Sialkot, Pakistan. Here is how a piece of stainless steel becomes a finished surgical instrument or beauty tool, from forging to final inspection and dispatch.
Work flow: 14 steps
- 01
Raw material
Every order starts with choosing the right stainless steel grade for the product and the buyer's specification. Steel bars and sheets are checked before they go into production.

Forging
The steel is heated and shaped in dies under the hammer to form the rough shape of the instrument. Forging gives the metal its strength and the basic outline of the product.

Forging inspection
Forged pieces are checked for cracks, bends and missing material. Only sound pieces move on to the next stage.

Trimming and milling
Extra metal around the forged shape is trimmed off, and joints, box locks and ring handles are machined to size.

Grinding and filing
Skilled workers grind and file each piece by hand and on machines to bring it to the exact shape, size and thickness.

Assembly and fitting
The two halves are fitted together, screws and joints are set, and the action is adjusted so the instrument opens and closes smoothly.

Heat treatment
Instruments are hardened and tempered so the steel reaches the right hardness: strong enough to hold an edge, but not brittle.

Sharpening and setting
Blades, jaws and tips are sharpened and aligned. Scissors are set to cut cleanly to the tip; nippers and tweezers are checked for a perfect closing.

Polishing and finishing
Each piece gets its surface finish: mirror, satin or matt, or coloured, coated or titanium finishes for beauty tools.

Passivation and cleaning
Instruments are cleaned and passivated to remove residues and improve corrosion resistance.

Marking and private label
Logos, reference numbers and CE marks are etched or laser-marked. Buyers can have their own brand name on the product.

Final quality inspection
Our quality team checks function, finish, sharpness and dimensions before the goods are approved for packing.

Packing and labelling
Products are packed in pouches, boxes or kits with the buyer's labels and barcodes, ready for retail or hospital supply.

Dispatch
Orders are prepared for export with the shipping documents and sent to buyers around the world.
